The TR600 telephone call recorder will record calls on analog, IP, or digital business phone lines. Set it to automatically record when a call is made or received. Recordings are stored on the included 8GB removable SD card. Playback calls on the TR600 or you remove the SD card to playback/store the recordings on any MAC or Windows computer; no extra software is needed. For windows users, the included Call Assistant RG Software enables you to manage and organize your recordings. The TR600 is a complete stand alone phone call recording solution, it does not require the use of a computer or any extra software. Set-up takes less than 5 minutes and it essentially runs on autopilot when calls are set to record automatically. The time/date of each recording is displayed on the LCD screen of the TR600; each file on the sd card is organized in chronological order and stamped with the time/date. The loop feature ensures that recording is never stopped due to a full memory card; when the memory fills up the newest calls are recorded over the oldest calls on the sd card. The phone number of incoming calls is displayed on the TR600’s LCD screen (phone line must have caller ID). Not only can calls be recorded but it can be used as a voice/meeting recorder. How To Connect The TR600 to Different Types of Phones The chart above shows how to connect the TR600 to different types of phones. For analog & digital phones, the phone line connector & wall jack is the same size/type. However, an IP phone line (ethernet/internet) cable and wall jack is a larger size. Please note that Analog lines connect to the back of the TR600, but Digital/IP lines connect to the side of the TR600. To record call automatically, the TR600 will need to be set the following ways: Analog Phones: Operate the TR600 in “line mode” with the “auto” record setting activated Digital/IP Phones: Operate the TR600 in “handset” mode with the “voice activation” setting activated. Automatic / Manual Call Recording All incoming and outgoing calls can be set to record automatically. In manual mode, you can choose to record only certain phone calls with a click of a button. Time/Date Stamp | Loop Recording The time/date of each recording is displayed on the LCD screen of the TR600 & files are stamped with the time/date.
